In the market of consumer electronics, firms often limit their product supply to create a scarcity effect to entice consumers to buy their product. However, the outcome of such a strategy is not always desirable. In this study, we propose the product configuration level as a contingent variable that works with the supply level to affect the outcome of a supply limitation strategy. With a vignette-based experiment, we find that for a product with a superior configuration, consumers' purchase intention is boosted only if the supply is very limited. For a product with an inferior configuration, however, the supply limitation strategy does not work at any supply level. In this study, we are interested in how export firms organize knowledge management and increase product innovation performance. Prior studies have concluded that knowledge transfer from external actors leads to operational performance outcomes; others have questioned the positive influence of buyer-driven knowledge transfer activities on innovation performance. Drawing on absorptive capacity, we aim to offer a better understanding, how export firms as recipients of knowledge resources, organize their internal capabilities in order to realize firm-level product innovation. This empirical study examines the interplay of buyer-driven knowledge activities, resource acquisition and combining, and product innovation outcomes in the context of Pakistani export firms. Drawing on survey data from 239 export-manufacturing firms, we test hypotheses using structural equation modeling. Our findings show that buyer-driven knowledge transfer activities play a crucial role in enhancing export firms in absorbing and combining resources that lead to product innovation. The pragmatic suggestion of the research suggests that managers look closely at developing a culture of involvement with their buyers that promotes the development of knowledge resources. 研究目的:针对发展竞争驱动下产生的地方政府土地供应策略,从空间维度上展开进一步分析,解析城市土地供应行为中存在着怎样的空间互动关系。研究方法:运用2007—2017年的城市层面面板数据和空间计量模型进行了实证检验。研究结果:(1)服务于发展竞争的土地供应策略,对本城市和周边城市的用地增长都会产生影响;(2)工业用地价格波动与商住用地价格波动都会产生空间溢出效应,且前者产生的空间溢出效应更强;(3)工业用地价格存在“竞次式”的城市间互动,其价格增长会显著抑制本城市的用地扩张,但会促进周边城市的用地增长;(4)商住用地价格提升会促进本城市用地扩张,并抑制周边城市用地扩张;(5)作为因变量的城市用地规模,在同省/异省的城市间分别存在着“彼此促进”和“此消彼长”两种互动关系。研究结论:区域协调、用地增长两个方面要紧密结合,针对工业用地价格“竞次式”竞争和商住用地价格高价出让,从城市间关系协调入手进行调控政策的设计与创新。 相似文献

随着电子商务市场的日益成熟,制造商建设线上直销渠道来适应新的商品销售环境成为趋势。制造商线上直销渠道的建立占领了部分原本属于线下零售渠道的市场份额,对线下零售渠道造成冲击。针对双渠道供应链中的竞争,将零售商销售努力行为考虑在内,通过构建博弈模型分别研究了在集中决策模式和分散决策模式下,制造商与零售商的定价策略。研究发现,在集中决策模式下,线下零售渠道与线上直销渠道之间的价格差异随着两个渠道潜在需求量之间差异的增大而增大,并且两个渠道的最优价格分别与其市场潜在需求成正比。在分散决策模式下,两个渠道的最优价格亦与潜在需求成正比,并且线下零售渠道的最优价格随零售商销售努力程度的增加而增加,线上直销渠道的最优价格随着零售商销售努力程度的增加而减少。 相似文献

为了降低研发成本,提高频谱系统的灵活性和缩短研制周期,提出了一种基于软件无线电的嵌入式频谱监测系统。首先研究了系统硬件平台组成和特点,在此基础上设计了一种灵活的软件定义系统架构;然后考虑到硬件平台自身性能的限制,重点研究了频率偏移校正、频谱扫描策略等关键技术,分别提出了基于GSM信号和温度传感器的频偏校正方法和基于相关性的扫频策略;最后通过具体实验,对系统性能进行验证与评估,结果表明所提出的频偏校正方法能够将绝对平均频偏控制在1.749×10-6以内,所设计的基于相关性的扫频策略对时变信号的频谱监测效果最好。 相似文献

We examine the impact of air pollution on a firm's capital-labor ratio. We propose the hypothesis that, in dealing with air pollution, a firm responds strategically by using relatively more capital and less labor to contain labor costs and remain competitive in the market. Using a sample of Chinese firms and a satellite-based air pollution metric, we test this hypothesis, and our results confirm it. In addition, we document that the impact of air pollution on the capital-labor ratio is more salient for firms with high economic incentives and close monitoring. Further, we report that to respond to worsening air pollution, a firm uses more capital and substitutes lower-quality labor with more high-quality labor. Finally, after increasing the capital-labor ratio, a firm's value increases, in terms of Tobin's Q, suggesting that the adoption of a higher capital-labor ratio, due to air pollution, is a sound business strategy. 相似文献

Despite the widespread recognition of the paybacks of “going green” and “going clean,” limited research has focused on the impact of lean‐green strategy on firm growth. In this study, we contribute to strategy and environmental sustainability literatures by investigating the possibility that the influence on lean‐green strategy and firm growth is driven by different levels of industry competition, managerial power, and family ties. Using panel data from 732 firms in four major industrialized economies (the United States, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom), we found that lean‐green strategy positively relates to firm growth and this relationship is amplified at higher levels of competition, managerial power, and family ties. Theoretical and practical implications of the study are also discussed. 相似文献
